Russell
Koonce
Russell
began his career with Alias, working with Industrial Design
clients such as Motorola, Freightliner, Price-Pfister, and
Mattel. His software skills proved valuable in the Film industry,
and he spent 10 years at Lucasfilm's Industrial
Light & Magic, creating visual effects for blockbuster
films including the Star Wars and Harry Potter
series. Russell was an innovator in the mid-90's creating
Interactive Movies funded by Corel Corporation as both a game
designer and art director. In that time Koonce created more
then 300 digital sets. Russell recently created design work
for clients such as Nike, and taught design and 3D
modeling at the Art Institute of Portland. He received a degree
in Product Design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena
in 1990 and his Bachelors Degree in Geography from the University
of Texas in 1987 |
