Joel
Christopher Payne
is America's new breakthrough collected artist. Coming from a modest
background, Payne emphasizes the expression of "Believable
dreams" in his paintings. Payne is a 3D Digital art professional
and Film composer. His professional work has been featured in countless
video games, 3D TV shows, films, and 3D magazines. His soundtracks
have been used for Steven Spielberg, Stan Winston, and Jim Henson
productions.
Spanning a 16
year career as an Environment artist/Composer Payne's talents have
enabled him to work with such companies as Intel, Microsoft, DreamWorks,
Disney, Sony, Corel, F9E, Foundation-imaging, and Disney Imagineering.
Payne has worked as an Environment Artist on Max Steal, Starship
Troopers the 3d cartoon series, Titanic, Jurassic Park, Silent Hill
5, Baulders Gate: Dark Alliance, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monk, Flintstones
the Movie, Disney's Virtual Jungle Cruise and Atlantis.
Payne
emerges as a collected painter of fine-art limited editions. His
Artwork is unique in it's process making him a leader in a new medium.
Featured in Computer Graphics World Magazine in 2002 his technique
and painting process is only known to him. His unique approach requires
more than just traditional art media skills, but specialized technical
ability as well as, 3D lighting, staging, photography and an ability
to work in both traditional oils and digital painting techniques.
It offers the viewer an image that neither painter nor photographer
alone could create - an image one step closer to reality than a
painter could render, and yet beyond the realistic capabilities
of photography making this kind of art truly one of a kind!
He
